Fashion is now become an art as well as technology of application of design and aesthetics to clothing and accessories. B.Des. (Fashion Design) programme at Faculty of Design, Manipal University Jaipur aims to prepare students as new age professionals, equipped with required skills and thorough knowledge of the present  fashion industry. During the entire course, students enhance their learning by undertaking an industry internship which helps them to add hands on learning and acquiring latest technology. Its prime focus is on entrepreneurship, generating employability and cater to the needs of the design, fashion, garment, textile and retail industries

Programme aims to prepare professionals to work as Fashion Designers (Employed/Entrepreneurs), Fashion Merchandisers, Fashion & Stylist Coordinators, Fashion Consultants, Fashion Photographers, Fashion Critic, Quality Assurance Managers, Fashion CAD Professionals, Creative Pattern Makers & Costume Designers.
