India is all set to develop 500 smart cities. These cities are rightly realised as engines of economic growth of the country. Planning, designing and execution of these cities requires planning professionals in large numbers. Therefore the realisation of capacity building in urban planning is important.

Manipal University Jaipur could foresee the requirement of ‘planners’ in good time and has started a Planning Programme: B. Plan. Eligibility for admission to this four year programme is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (or equivalent stream) with mathematics.
