A guest lecture by Prof. Rajan Mahan, Head, Department of Electronic Media, Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication (HJUJ) was conducted by the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Manipal University Jaipur on 20th January 2016. Prof. Mahan gave his lecture on 'Writing News for Television'. He conversed about Art of writing and the basic guidelines and tips for writing news script.

 It was an interactive session where the students as well as Director(SJ&MC) Prof. Ravi Chaurvedi, Dean- Awadesh sir* ,HOD Ramesh Kumar Rawat, and other faculty members were present.

Manipal University Jaipur proudly presents “AROPI HAZIR HO” - A play created by EKJUT on behalf of State Transport Department, Govt. of Rajasthan based on Road safety awareness on January 22nd at 4:00PM.

ABOUT THE PLAY-:

AROPI HAZIR HO analyses the reasons and causes of road Accidents and sends a very strong message on Road Safety to help changing the mind-set of its audience. This one hour production by 20-25 actors and stage supporters takes you through the journey of mistakes committed and its painful consequences borne by victims of Road accidents. It is a unique experiment and almost first of its kind of effort to convey a message and create awareness by using the powerful tools of theatre.
